Looking for recommendations for restaurants west of Austin, in hill country. Also, any good liquor store recs in the area? Thanks

West Texas is beyond Abilene/San Angelo/Del Rio...if you’re talking Johnson City/Llano/Brady/Fredericksburg...you’re still in the Hill Country...try Otto’s in Fredericksburg.

Fredericksburg has bunch of Cool restaurants and wineries not 5 miles away they are all good. The German place on main strip in Fred is cool.

Is the little Welfare Cafe in Welfare still open? By Boerne. Cool place.
