I guess that law has changed since I lived there? I remember not being able to served liquor anywhere in West Monroe on Sundays

Its not nearly as bad as this board makes it out to be. iirc, theyve changed owners/management/chefs. i dont ever think to go there but when we happen to pick there to eat and have some beers, im always satisfied with the food.

the one by lsu always has good drink specials and the waitresses usually are easy on the eye

I don't get the hate. Solid bar food with a good beer selection. If you want gourmet go to a nice restaurant and spend some money.

That's gonna pinch Hooters and leave a mark.

Ok how am I wrong? I remember going into places and all the liquor bottles were either put away, or covered. Asked for a cocktail and was told West Monroe law prohibited liquor sales on Sunday and beer sales before noon.

I expect it has a loyal following. I do see decent parking lot numbers sometimes, but I'm not by there much. This should hurt it, likely kill it. We'll see. This place should be a Friday thru Sunday madhouse.

My son and I tried to go eat at the new Walk-Ons in San Antonio last Wednesday.

People were lined up out the door and parking was non-existent. The bar area was totally packed.

The young girls at the front desk were taking peoples names on paper napkins and looked totally overwhelmed.
They said 30 minutes-looked more like an hour so we left. It looked like a total cluster...

Some of their food is pricey. We are getting one in alexandria, but since finding a place with decent service is hard to come by I don't have high expectations.

They are doing well with the franchises. Not sure if they are meeting promised numbers though. I'm always hesitant if the franchiser isn't taking on new stores.

Crazy how fast they are expanding but if drew Brees fitting the bill, they have plenty of capital
