I'm not a huge pastrami fan but I think the New Yorker is one of my favorite sandwiches there. I'm not sure how many ounces of pastrami are on it the sandwich enough to make me feel like I need a nap. Big pig and Cubano have always been solid the times I've had them. Also bacon and summer sausage from the deli case are legit

Ate here today for the first time. Got the Cubano and it was very good. Place was clean and had a nice vibe to it. Only complaint was the 8 oz diet cokes in the old school bottle. That's not enough drink for a sandwich that size with no refill!

I'll be back.

Yes. You'd never know it was there unless you know it's there.

It's funny you say that.

I told the owner that exact thing at the Rum House this past spring. I mean, some guys and I were just trying to shoot the bull with him as it was empty, and he was kind of a bitch

They are having a boucherie this Friday evening from 5-9 as some sort of customer appreciation. It's $15 a head and that includes your food and live music.

I'll definitely run this idea up the flag pole with the Mrs, but I probably won't be able to go. We're going out for her mom's birthday and I doubt she'll want to go to city pork due to her gluten allergy. Plus, my SO likes ham, but isn't big into BBQ pork (because she's insane).

Skinny white guy told me the same thing about Friday. Roasting a whole pig among other meats and $2 Tin Roof.

Ate here yesterday for the first time. I've heard good things about this place and I was glad to see them hold true. The Big Pig sammich filled my gut nicely and the bacon n chocolate chip cookie was an outstanding cap to the meal.
