medium well, my s.o. eats her steak rare, i tried it, but

Rare or medium rare. Never past that

I had a date one time at the hibachi order steak well done, the chef got there and he goes, "oh medium rare for the genterman and for lady, oh you wants some beef jerky?"

Anyone that does not have terrible taste will not order a steak well done. Any person who orders a well done steak should get a complementary slap in the face.

And Rare for me. Blood is the best seasoning.

This is a great way to identify people with terrible taste, poor upbringing, or a narrow-minded view of the world. Many of them are also of very low intelligence.

I seriously would not prepare a steak for a guest at my house that asked for well done. If you ask for more than medium, you're getting a chicken breast.

Would you date someone who ordered a steak med-well or well done?

Just tell him or at least think - whatever my fil does to this steak doesn't compare what you do to his daughter on a nightly basis.

Fresh Marker Steaks - rare to the point of mooing
questionable looking BiLo steak - med to med well. my dog has worms, i dont want them too.

This was my last steak. Cooked exactly like I like it and topped with blue cheese butter.


And when I cut it open... What do you call that?
