I'd rather medium rare at home on the grill. But, In a restaurant you never know. Then again, I try to avoid ordering steak when it's not at a steakhouse.

Rare to medium rare. But my wifes family is from the midwest. For 'steak night' they broil until it's leather and drown it in A1. Terrible.

Medium.

I just had the best filet of my life at nuvolari's in mandeville. It was fantastic and just had the right taste, tenderness, and charcoal taste. I was like holy shite the whole way through. It's gonna take something special to top it.

ETA: To that filet.

It's not cooked so much that I could wear it on my feet, and it's still juicy and tender.

Medium rare. If I was cooking steaks and someone asked me to cook theirs medium well I would ask them to leave.
