The guys I know on different teams are SUPER into it for sure. But it's for a great cause so I don't give them too much shite.

So, when the last band of the night ends, the party really just begins. However, the party only starts if you have a wristband for one of the cooking teams. Friday night is cool, because you have the bacon dishes and you have the regular bands, but what is great is all of these parties at all of these cooking teams that often have their own bands.
It’s a little bit like being at a hotel bar with a wedding party except you’re not in the wedding party and you don’t know any of those people and you’re the only one who doesn’t.

Few years back I went for lunch on a friday and there was a cop hiding his cruiser behind a clump of trees as a speed trap. Maybe 10-15 of us waiting in line outside. We all pull out our phones, open Waze, and start marking a hidden speed trap. Folks drive through at 5-under for the rest of lunch!

Still only Thurs/Fri and closed all of this week for Hogs preparation.
