What do you do if you get shorted an item?

Once you pickup , the customer service through the app will not allow returns or any other contact

Edit: after trying to contact via app and calling store for 20 plus minutes, I went to the main wal mart website (not app) and got to a chat where a corporate grocery department contact called back. They issued a credit and done quickly. Only issue in multiple orders so far so nbd

Do you work for Shipt man? you’re throwing it in the conversation like it’s a product placement ad in The Truman Show
No, as I said above, my wife uses them for Rouses, so it's the other service I have experience with.

Shipt gives better service, but you're paying for it in monthly fees and tip.

LouisianaLady,

as for Shipt not doing groceries at Target, you'll have to ask them why. I have no idea.

On the iPhone app, go to account, then click Pickup & Delivery. Find your order.

There is a button marked “Start a return.” If you have item issues or are unhappy with subs, it lets you ask for a credit. You mark whether it was poor quality, didn’t get it, etc.

I have used it a few times, and they always credit me immediately.

Once I had a question about an update to the app. Went to the website and requested they contact me. My phone rang immediately,

Thanks....I tried doing that originally but got this:

I was able to get it straight by going through the other customer service contact method but for whatever reason the app part wasn’t working

I keep saying I am going to start using the pick up service. I was with my folks when they used the drive-up service and it seems like an easy process. I had one thought that I think would make it better for me. They should allow you to put a deposit down on the plastic crate they use to pick and store your food. That way they just place the crate in your car instead of individual bags. Seems like it would be easier and faster.

I was looking at what was picked up on Friday at Walmart. I got 3 quarts of Borden's milk. The expiration date on all 3 was the day it was picked up. That was not a happy moment and the first time I've had the issue anywhere.

I haven't noticed when I've used Walmart if there's a section on the order in which to provide any instructions on expiration dates, for example. The other place I use allows for that.

You have to be subtle and slick with it. They have cameras watching in the pick up area. I always leave the tip on the floor of the back seat where they load the groceries. They are always appreciative and always take it.

I also occasionally luck up and get some bonus items (i'm guessing from someone else's order). I tried calling them the first time it happened and they told me just keep the groceries.

Every time I pick up now I'm looking for bonus items

I have used Walmart Grocery pickup many times.

I've never gotten directly upgraded like that for a sold out item. However, there have been times I've order a 16 oz item and that was out, so they gave me 2 10 oz items instead, for the 16 oz price.

I've also, on a number of occasions, gotten upgraded on brand, for example, I order Great Value brand of something and that's out, so I get a name brand instead, for same price.

On the other hand, I've also had items that were listed as out of stock, no replacement offered, and I immediately go back inside after and find not only the exact item I ordered, but several sub options.

It really does come down to the person (or persons) who are picking your order. Like anything else, some of them care more than others.
