Let's do the math here:

Dempsey's:
$11 poboy and fries
$9 Chicken Dijon (use this to sub for the buffalo chicken sandwich.. same shite, diff sauce)
$6 Cheese Fries (or even $7 if you want the one with peppers)
$8 for two "import" beers
$10.50--round to $11 (using Bulldog's price, which is almost definitely higher than Dempsey's) crown
________________________________
$46

Walkons:

(I'm assuming you brought up poboys because you're considering this wrap a poboy for the sake of the argument)

Incorrect. Walk ons small cheese fries, which have the same amount as Dempseys, is the same price

NOPE.

No no no no.

Dempsey's cheese fries are huge. No less than the Walkons ones I had two weekends ago.

The WalkOns fries I had last weekend were no differently sized than any other fries I've had anywhere else.

4 people shared them, and we all felt perfectly ready to eat our meals. Which is what a normal sized app does. We weren't too full or anything.

They give plenty, but they don't give some magic amount more than other places.

I guess once you've gotten too fat to frick your wife this is all you have left.

Might as well just hit the Gold Club. Their buffet is probably better food.

Yes, yes yes. Walk ons large cheese fries feed like 8 people. Their small is good for 4 people.

I had them last week. My SO and I eat like children. I'm 100lbs, for pete's sake.

We shared them with two other people.

Finished them off.. had plenty room for entrees (which SO and I just split one).

I've always wondered how serving food at a strip club wasn't some kind of health code violation.

Agreed. We got the large for a table of 8. If there were 4 of us, I wouldn't have the need to order anything else to eat.

Like I said earlier, I shoulnd't have to go into a restaurant with a plan.

Sure, I can order PBR and a sandwich at WalkOns and it be fine.

But why should I have to worry about what I choose to drink or what appetizer I eat because there are $4 tacked onto it?

That's how they get you. They keep some things normally priced, and go outrageous on others.

As I mentioned, the shrimp app they brag about had three shrimp.
Jones and I were with two other people and couldn't even share with them That's pathetic.
And they're $10.

$14.50 for poopoo Crown is insane.

I honestly wish I could find a new photo of the gator.

They swapped the dish for meat and the dish for sauce
It's hilarious. Huge cup of white shite, and this little dressing cup of meat.

$12 or something insane.

Unless someone fricked up and brought us the wrong one, which is doubtful.

And either way, I don't WANT $10 cheese fry mountain. I want the same (plenty large) cheese fries as elsewhere for $7 so my bill isn't $70 from $14.50 drinks and $10 potatoes.

Cheese fries are one of the cheapest apps you can get places.
