Deep Eddy is the best bang for your buck in my somewhat limited experience with vodka.

If using it as a mixer, I can't complain about Kirkland's brand of Vodka in the 1.75 bottle for $12.99.
I've had it in Bloody Mary's, Screwdrivers, mixed with cranberry juice or other fruit juices and a couple times with just a splash of Sprite and a squeeze of lemon or lime.
Some cheaper liquors have an off-putting taste, almost like some type solvent, but not this one.

But the alcohol sold by warehouse shopping clubs like Costco (under its Kirkland Signature label) is actually manufactured by some of the same top-shelf brand names. Kirkland vodka is made by Grey Goose, its bourbon by Jim Beam and its scotch by Macallan 18. The Costco versions come at better size/value ratio, at a fraction of the cost. For example:

Since moving to Texas, I am loyal to Starr Blu. It's 5 times distilled, got a 90 score on the Beverage Tasting Institute and is $13.99 for a handle. I was drinking 3 doubles a night for a while and never woke up with a hangover. It's literally the best value vodka I've seen ever since Svedka raised their prices.
