Wonder if they will do a fundraiser for the group that wants to put General Lee back up at Lee Circle ?

If they want to, they probably would. If they don't want to, they probably wouldn't.

What was the point of that post?

It's pretty clear that the event is at the brewery so unless you go there during the event, you shouldn't have any problems.

I guess that's where we differ.. I rarely buy their beer outside the brewery and go there often. There is always an event going on in there.

Cool. So if there's an event you don't want to support, don't go.

What part of this is hard to figure out?

They aren't going to support any controversial issue that are far right.

I don't care if they are left leaning but if proceeds from the purchases I make go to support the removal of my rights than I'll buy my beer somewhere else.

Well said.

I can respect the opinions of those for whom the issue doesn't matter.

The smug attitude toward those who care about the issue and where their money goes is different.

As an aside, I am guessing Service Brewing is an option.

Well, if they don't agree with those issues, why would they?

You expect the duck dynasty guys to host an event for gun control activists? Ffs dude.

I'll post this again since you didn't catch it the first time I posted it. But that's for the help.

I did catch it and replied with the quote from the link saying only the $1 from the proceeds from that specific event are going to the charity.

Who gives a shite? This is the same stuff snowflakes get upset over--a business/brand that does not share the same beliefs as them.

Eh, it's different when they say $1 from each sale will go to the charity, but you can still easily avoid the event.

He said something to the effect that players should stand during the national anthem to respect our service personnel.

He’s an Army vet himself.

True. And it's not about "snowflakes melting" or whatever idiotic rhetoric someone proffers.

It's simply a discussion. Funny how someone spouts off about people who "melt" because someone disagrees yet that is exactly what they do themselves.

What about when they openly and actively donate and support a candidate that is out to wage war on their clientele?

Wonder if they are pairing up with MADD to curb drinking and driving at this event.

To be fair, if you look up what US has donated to the last few years it's stuff like, prison literacy, SPCA, Hurricane relief efforts, NOLA Library, school fundraiser, etc.
