My mom was a bit stingy with sugar growing up, so these were a huge treat for me!

They're one of those foods that I never crave or think about buying from the store. However, whenever I eat one, I'm like, "Damn, these are delicious."

Only good for pie crust and more overrated than ketchup.

I made a couple S'mores about 5 years ago, around age 50, could barely finish the 2nd. Just way too sweet for me now. Kinda like chocolate marshmallow cracker flavored sugar.

I like chocolate bars, can eat marshmallows, and graham crackers are good too. Put them together with a little heat though and may as well make like a 4lb bag of sugar is cocaine and I'm Scarface.

I’ve made SMores with Reese’s eggs recently. And dark chocolate. A little less sweet.

graham cracker fun fact
quote:

The graham cracker was inspired by the preaching of Sylvester Graham who was part of the 19th-century temperance movement. He believed that minimizing pleasure and stimulation of all kinds, coupled with a vegetarian diet anchored by bread made from wheat coarsely ground at home, was how God intended people to live, and that following this natural law would keep people healthy.
