When Chang takes his politics out of the show I enjoy his perspective and cooking. His first couple shows didn’t have much, if any at all. Now though they are fricking terrible. Everyone here is right. I don’t want to watch some guy talk shite about libs or whatever either, but some of Chang’s thoughts and agendas are just absurd.

The ugly part of the ugly delicious is sort of the ugly things behind the history of certain foods. That being said he jumps through hoops to shoehorn racist shite in every episode. He even finds a black guy that claims he won't eat fried chicken in public because he's worried about stereotypes about black people and fried chicken. I've met a ton of black people and have never met one that sensitive. It's almost like he had to pay the guy to say it on camera.

I mean he’s a douche, but his reasoning makes zero sense. Chang acts like Asian cuisine is disrespected by the rest of the world. I have never been anywhere in America that didn’t have a shite ton of Asian restaurants
