Friends,

TigerWise was the last winner in TulaneLSU's photo challenge. Do you think you can name this restaurant? If you do, you also have to include the restaurant's address.

I’ve got one for you...was a French Quarters Italian restaurant.

Friends,

As you struggle with what I thought would be a gimmie I will add the following two hints:

This restaurant is no longer open
This restaurant has had three different addresses, although only two officially under this restaurant’s name.

Yours,
TulaneLSU

Dear Friend,

I applaud your courage in guessing. Most posters have read this, drawn a blank, and, rather than giving it a go, have cowered. I will probably give it away by including this picture of the building’s front:

Looks like Metairie circa 85-90. Lived in New Orleans 50 years and have no idea.

Friends,

Once again, the Food Board Poster of the 2000s, comes through. Well done, glassman.

Croziers was, for a time, my favorite restaurant in the Metro. I never had the honor of trying the NOLA East location, near some of the nicest high rises in New Orleans East, but the one on West Esplanade, was superb. Everything on that menu was world class.

Yours,
TulaneLSU

P.S. I am very surprised, and perhaps a little disappointed, that a forum dedicated to food, and New Orleans food in particular, required the assistance of glassman to answer this photo quiz. This was a top five restaurant in Nola for two decades.

It was my grandparent's favorite for many years. I recognized the carpet.

The Crozier's in Metairie had a loan denial letter from Bank of New Orleans framed above the men's room urinal.
