When I lived in Lafayette, I had something of an affinity for Bullritos. Loved their salad bowls. Shortly before I moved, Urbano's acquired the Bullritos franchise rights and closed both locations. I'll get over it someday. Just not today.

Have you tried La Papa Loca on Cameron? Very authentic. I haven't been since they moved, but went once when they were on Eraste Landry.

Awesome to see how far downtown has come the past couple of years. Making a lot of progress adding restaurants, grocery store, and more upscale housing. Place looks solid.

Yea, I didn't realize they moved from their Eraste Landry spot. Their chicharron taco is legit. Haven't ordered anything else from them besides tacos (La Papa Loca).

They moved into the building that was Landry's Cafe (plate lunch place). Probably better parking.

My wife and I went there yesterday. The food was great and the margaritas were as good as any in Lafayette. This place will become one of our spots for sure. We had ceviche, chicken verde tacos, and the tuna tostada.

Went last night, had the queso fundido, wife had the birria and I had the mole chicken, both on the flour tortillas. The chicken was ok but the birria and queso were great. Had a couple margaritas as well and those were good. We'll be back soon to try more of the food and cocktail offerings.
