Making the annual saints trip weekend to Nola and the party lined up Tujague’s(first time) and GW Fins. Been to GW’s before but any recs is much appreciated on both as it’s been a while. TIA.

Tujague's had moved and has done a bit of modernization with the menu. The one thing they have always done well is their shrimp remoulade. It's the red "creole" version but it has always been good.

You been to their new location?

Drove by their old one recently and looks like the dumbass owner is having a time trying to lease it.

I have not. My son went last week and said it was really good.

Don’t the Motwani’s own Tujague’s now?

I thought they were the ones who booted them from the old location?

No. They own the old building.

The best advice I could give is to make reservations anywhere. I was shut out of Peche on the days wanted to go for instance. A lot of places will be booked solid.

When I'm there alone I can usually find a spot at the Fins bar to eat at without a reservation.

No, they own the old building and the iconic sign unfortunately.

The new building will get a replica of the sign...and yes, go to the new tujagues. It is really good. The Metwoni's have zero to do with the new location
