Trying to remember a chefs name

Believe he may have been at Gautreau's at one time. Eventually was at Upperline for awhile but had typical service industry "issues". Ring a bell?

Thanks. Actually, I was pretty sure he made a stop at Upperline. Btw, the point of the question was just trying to recall the guys name. It was relevant to a discussion I was having.

As a former back of the house worker I can safely say any chef worth a damn is an absolute lunatic. Never trust a sober chef.

No. Gotham Bar and Grill in NYC. His father is a retired attorney from NOLA. Our families have been friends for 3 generations.
ETA: He was the first of three chefs from Gautreau's to be named one of Bon Appetite's top ten new chefs. Harris and Zemanick are the others. Only one other restaurant can make that claim in the country. Gautreau's has been the most consistently great in the history of New Orleans.

Thanks Glass. Was thinking of a restaurant in New Iberia back in the late 90s by the name of Le Rosier. Was owned by an attn, and his first chef was his son.
