Seems to me like old hammond has better fried rice than jones creek. I haven't been going to old hammond though since Bluebonnet is 5 mins away. BB fried rice sucks unless they've changed it.

Yeah, Jones Creek fried rice is not very good. Haven't tried it at the other Blue's. Village Grocery on Perkins has good fried rice, chicken and other things. It's all around better than Blue IMO. And like Blue, very inexpensive.

yes same family
there is a matriarch that selects locations does leases/build outs etc and fronts the money. Each location is managed by whichever family members she assigns.
It is not franchised

When the Popeyes is well run I would tend to agree but the ones in BR are such shite. I can go to Bluestore and get exactly what I ordered, cheaper and be in and out MUCH faster.
