It is! Especially since the waiter scraped it out into a heaping mess on a plate right in front of us. Tasted delicious though and is the only thing the wife and I remember from our trip there.
Edit: I felt like most stuff there was gimmicky. Popcorn Catfish? Buffalo frog legs?

Granted I haven't been in about 2 years, but I used to eat there for lunch 2x/month when I worked downtown and the gumbo was always excellent.
