I don't really care for black-eye peas, but I made this recipe, and it's a keeper. Good stuff.

Thank you bruh, got my stuff on the counter to make this in the morning with a Rib Roast. Happy New Year y'all, came here just now to share again. My Mom made this every year and it's one of my tribute dishes.

Fantastic. The jalapenos really shine through on the peas and it wasn't too salty. I will admit I only used five tablespoons of butter instead of the whole stick.
