Ive been eating alot of sirloin flap and tri tip. Ive seen the top sirloins at costco alot im gonna have to try those.

My local Safeway has them regularly on sale for 5.99. I'm buying it in bulk in Olympia, WA for 4.99.

I tried the Ponzu sauce yesterday as a marinade. It was very good. It has sugar in it, so I won't be using g it often, but my daughter really liked it.
I did some flanken style ribs (thicker than usual)and some top sirloin steaks. They came out good.

Rouses has top Sirloin steaks on sale this week for $4.99lb and tenderloin butts for $12.99.

I've never actually used it as a marinade. The taste stayed in there pretty well?

Yes. It is very thin, so I thought it would work well as a marinade. This time I did not add anything else, and you definitely taste the soy with sweetness from the citrus. I might add some red pepper next time to add some heat.

If you want to go full on Asian, try some togarashi.
I dont think it's as spicy as red pepper flakes and I wouldn't go out of my way to buy some if it's not at your local stops

Wow. That’s amazing. You can’t get hamburger meat for $4.99 LB here unless it’s on sale. Fresh Market had New Your Strip for $9.99 LB last weekend but you had to buy the whole strip and the butcher cut it to the thickness you preferred. I bought one that weighed 11 pounds and the other was almost 13 pounds. What did not make steak he ground into hamburger meat. A chick roast here is running $7.00 LB. I would have thought beef in Washington state would be higher than south Alabama.
