Empire in Breckenridge does have a good burger, but the service sucked so bad the last few years, we quit going.Horrible service.

If you aren’t afraid of monkeypox, try the Dandy Randy.

Methodology: This is a list for the Top Cheeseburger in every State in 2022 according to Yelp. We identified businesses in the food and restaurants category on Yelp, with a large concentration of reviews mentioning “cheeseburger,” then ranked those spots using a number of factors, including the total volume and ratings of reviews mentioning “cheeseburger” between January 1, 2022 and July 15, 2022. This list looked at businesses in the United States. All businesses were marked open on Yelp as of July 27, 2022. When available, all businesses on this list have a passing health score as of July 27, 2022.

By that methodology somewhere like LPG ain't making the list

Tommy’s Burger Stop (Alaska)

What they’re known for: Their cajun influenced burgers and po’boys.

This is where I stopped.

It is some sort of math.

Pretty much just said if you have high rankings and sling a bunch of cheeseburgers.

Probably not bad choices though.

Au Chuval and Green Dot are on the list.

Youve never been to Tommy's, Alaska for their Gonzales style jamb?

Best cheeseburger I’ve had in Louisiana is the CC at Market Eatz in Lafayette. Angus beef, cheddar cheese, Steen’s bacon, crunchy onions, short-rib, sunny-side up egg, spicy mayo. Combo with their sweet potato fries, & a cold pint of draft beer!

People seek out cheeseburgers when they are out in other states enough so that people have to make a ranking like this?

I do.

Any city I visit we usually do 3-5 burgers in.

You know on the first bite where you are ranking it and whether you are finishing the burger.

Usually don't give lists much attention though.

Someone has to try to help steer wayward diners who search this site.

You'll have them eating at Atomic and Company

Btw, for better burgers on the street.

LPG
Gris Gris
Bouligny
St Vincent
Chophouse
Flamingo

I like the sliders, but I would recommend any of the above over District....just on that street.
