What's the (latest) name of that sketchy Italian place on Oaklawn and Vets

Fausto's, or Fury's? Both have been there a while.

A buddy's family on my (and our mutual friends) soccer team own Fury's.

I've never been.

Definitely not Fausto's. The place i'm thinking of at one time (and may still be) was La Famiglia.

Subway

thats a lot of 5 dollar footlongs

I swear, that may be all from Jim Donelon, the Louisiana Insurance Commissioner. When I used to work downtown, I would always see him at the Subway at North Boulevard and Third Street.

or Fury's?

Went with my granparents. The food is pretty good, the servers are nice, but the atmosphere is the same as a funeral home. Defintiely a reason my grandparents took me.

The first real date I ever went on was at Sal and Judy's.

And Ruth's Chris is my favorite restaurant.

You need to get out a little more.

Seriously, it's a pretty good meal, but is such a boring place. I went last week with a gift card and remembered why I rarely ever eat out at higher end steak houses.
I dropped $44 on a damn steak. I mean it is a nice steak and all but that kind of meal just isn't worth it.

I wasn't so surprised by the low end stuff, as I can imagine lots of takeout pizza and Subway for campaign volunteers or as donated food to kids sports or other constituent related community stuff. But Andreas? Just gross.

Didn't mean to insult your choice of fav restaurant.
If that is what you love, go where you love.
