there used to be a superior pizza option in Hammond where Milan’s is now, the blackened brew guy opened it and it was excellent pizza. He sold it to open another mediocre version of blackened brew off club deluxe, and the new owners clearly don’t know what they are doing. Same oven, same exact style and layout and the pizza is inedible. I don’t understand it LOL

it has to be a laundering front..

for that place to still be open and have zero customers, something is up...

hi Ho
been here twenty years now and still can’t figure that place out. What’s good there?

2 Pork heavy, a bag of plain Lay's and a Barq's
Open the sandwich, stack the Lay's on it and cover it all with Crystal hot sauce.
Man, that is the best!

The hamburgers are actually pretty good, better than anything fast food wise and cheaper last time I went.

But two Pork with fries and a barq's is the way to go. Throw some hot sauce on it to finish it up.

As long as the buffalo breadsticks and luna rosa are the same that's all you need.

We used to get the burger from the HiHo #whatever that was on University Ave., no longer there but it was great, like homemade.

When we were really broke it was HiHo sauce buns or lunch special from Six Fortune, $2.99 with a water. Mandarin chicken.....memories.

Back to Tommy's, still haven't eaten at Tommy's downtown, only the old old one. Sweet sauce and a pitcher of beer, so good.

I think about the old Tommy's a good bit when I pass thru that intersection.
I remember the little brick building next to the old Ford Tractor dealership.
Weekend at my dad's meant lasagna from Tommy's!

Trey Yuen right across the street and Handi Pak next door.

Find myself in Hammond, America this fine evening. About to stop in to Tommy’s on Thomas for a pie. I’ll report back.

I’m familiar with the old version, so, very curious as to how it’s changed.

Solid advice.

Can’t argue with any of the statements already make itt about Tommys.

Pretty good, but not as good. Service was quick and friendly.

We like to go to Tommy's every now and then when we're craving some type of specialty pizza.

My favorites list of Hammond pizza spots:
1. Commodore's
2. Tommy's
3. Nola Mia
4. Milan's

I down voted you for putting Nola Mia at #3. But you also didn't like Pourhouse either and I would have put that at #1 until Nola Mia opened

Commodores lately has been super greasy and salty.Right now I prefer the New Tommy's and Nola Mia. I really liked Pourhouse, I haven't tried it with the new owners.
