I've corrected the link with the latest version.

We are pretty close on the Android app. It's looking pretty good, I think.

There are obstacles for offering an iphone app. Does anyone have experience with developing one?

I've been told that to develop an iphone app, you have to have a Mac computer, an iphone and spend $250 on a development kit. If that's true, the IOS version ain't gonna happen unless somebody can help.

IDK, I just know that two of the teams that won the big downtown Jambalaya Jam yesterday have deep roots in the AP. I don't think us EBR boys ever had a chance.

It was still a lot of fun-having never cooked anything bigger than 5 quarts 3 years ago to 30 gallons yesterday and (modestly said) nailing it was very gratifying. And I've learned a lot from the calculator and all the discussion in it and about it. Thanks Rat!

not gonna lie I'm very impressed with resource.

I'm cooking a jambalaya at the end of this month for a wedding and this is a big help.

Just so everybody knows, there is a newer version, 7.2, that has some minor improvements.

Download It Here.

Rat saw the facebook post so I shared and got tons of responses. They all thought it was my doing. I gave credit where credit was due.

Now hows that pot scrubber app coming along ?

Heady Murphy and I ran into a problem with some of the formulas with that. Care to weigh in with your ideas?

Question:

Can I brown the pork and chicken at the same time for time saving purposes?

Yes, but if you crowd it too much, your meat will steam rather than brown.

I broke down and cooked a pastalaya for some folks last weekend. Once again, the calculator was spot on and proved to be invaluable.
