Were you not one of the people that favored Opie not post on this board because he ran a buisiness that could benefit or be hurt by this board? And now you are going to use this board to promote a different website? WTF DUDE?

The website is not for profit, it's just for fun. A hobby of sorts. Food is a passion me and my two friends share so we are starting a site to highlight what BR has to offer.
And I didn't help run Opie off. I just said I could see where it's difficult to be a business owner and post on a community website. I understood why he would want to not post.

You know what's lame. Hyping up a new website only to keep delaying it. Maybe you should have waited till the day before you launched it to hype it up. It might be out sometime around XMAS.

I never gave a day stating when the site would be up. I said in a few days and it will be. I just wanted to see what other people on here liked as their favorite dishes.
The site will be up when it's up to our standards. You wouldn't serve something that hadn't been cooked all the way (exclude meat), so why would I link the site when it's not worth looking at, at the moment.

So did you change the list at all, since seeing what people said on this thread? If not there was really no point to hearing people's opinion if the list was gonna remain, not matter what.

The list changed a little bit. The initial rankings of the dishes were much different than the final rankings. Also so people suggested some items that had slipped my mind and I wanted to include.
Regardles of the list, I still wanted to hear what others thought. The list is just my opinion anyway.

Well if some dishes slipped your mind then they shouldn't be included on the list, because earlier you mentioned that this list was composed of dishes that you craved and left a lasting impression on you.

Maybe you should learn to have some patience instead of getting your knickers in a twist over something so trivial. He clearly was using this board to double check his list and most of us seemed to enjoy the discussion that stemmed from that. If you are actually caused any sort of grief or inconvenience by reading this thread and not being able to click on a shiny new link at the end then you have some serious problems.

I was just giving my buddy LSUZombie a hard time. I've actually seen the list and know the website. We went to lunch last week and he told me the idea, which I thought was a good one.

Irvine, what I meant was there were a couple of dishes that were on the fence and after seeing them mentioned on this thread, I reevaluated them. Alot of my 25 wasn't even mentioned, a few were. I hope my list will get some people to try some new dish they haven't or even try a new place where they haven't been.

It's ok, no biggie. I just told him when he showed me the list that I would give him a hard time till the website was up.
