Not sure what to do with them yet. I got the frozen ones instead of the thawed ones in the case so I can keep them in the freezer.

Rouse’s $21 a pound

Friend,

Give me 26/30 count or 31/35 count all day. I find the taste worse the larger they get, and they become too chewy. But again, I do not like lobster either.

Yours,
TulaneLSU

P.S. Any garage or craigslist finds this weekend? I always enjoy your segment on them.

I normally get 10-15 or 15-20.

These 4 ct have a completely different texture and taste than LA gulf white and brown shrimp.

None this weekend, there were no sales except a couple estate sales. I’m guessing no one had garage sales due to the storms last week

Those are pond raised Black Tiger Shrimp most likely from places you really don't want to get your food from.

Do you think they’re big enough?

My native American friends near Buras would disagree.

you paid 30 bucks for 1.5 lbs of shrimp about 1/2 of which is actually meat. Not to mention those are undoubtedly from a farm in SE asia or S America

sue me but I’m not impressed with this deal
