A friend of mine who lives on the coast always talks about this place and how good it is. They have one in Ocean Springs and in Gulfport down on the coast, and now I just found out that they are opening a Shed in downtown Hattiesburg.
Have any of you guys eaten here before? I know it was on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. Let me know what you think about their food, my buddy swears by their potato salad.

Potato salad is legit. I'm from Ocean Springs so I've only eaten at that original location. Have no idea if it translated to other franchises.

Not even close to being worth the effort. Watched it on Triple D, was headin back to BR from FLA, decided to try it. Sadly disappointed. Average at the very best. Plus its hot as balls in there.

I might be in the minority on this one, but I love their ribs. The sides are just ok, but the ribs are delicious. I have only eaten at the original in Ocean Springs, though.

i have been to 3 different locations and by far the ocean springs is the best.
i always get the ribs/brisket combo with mac salad and cole slaw.
my mouth is watering just thinking about it.
I did have a bad meal there once. I went on a weekend and usually go during the week. I think they may have had a different cook.

This is spot on. I had a friend who would not shut up about this place. After I got a chance to try it, I gave her the casty IRL. Place is turrible, I have no idea why it was so packed.

WOW! I wasnt really expecting the reviews to be quite this BAD. The people I know who have eaten at the Shed in Ocean Spings all love it.
I guess Im just going to have to try it for myself in Hattiesburg.

I ate at the one in Destin a month ago. Had the pulled pork sandwich. Thought it was pretty good. Don't order the sausage, it wasn't so good.

There is a great BBQ place in Destin, well just east of Destin. HWY 98 BBQ right across the highway from Hidden Dunes. Totally legit.

There's only one place for BBQ in hattiesburg, and that's Leatha's.
The shed is in double A, Leatha's in the majors
