The wife picked up a dix pack of Sixie for me yesterday.
Cooking some cabbage here this afternoon and cracked open an ice cold Dixie. Not bad! I like it!
I can see it becoming the beer being sold in the dome at Saints games.

Anybody else try it yet?

I think that's a safe bet.

Can't be long till Bud light is dropped from Saints official beer and replaced by Dixie we been saying that since we heard of its return and new owner. I aint seen it yet but will try it when I do if it aint too expensive. What is it costing where yall found it??

Better than I remember it drinking it in the early 90's when the Wisconsin people brewed it.

It's actually better than in the 60's and 90's. A friend of mine's dad was a brewmaster at Dixe when they were still on Tulane. He used to get me cases free. It was good as long as it was really cold especiallly the Voodoo.
I like the local idea!

The Dixie Dome has a nice ring to it.

Take that to the bank. The "large" Dixie at Yulman for the Saints practice a few weeks ago was $8. Was not large by any means, so one of those big Dixie doam foams will certainly be $12.

That being said I bought a sixer for $hits and Gigs, it's a lager alright. Not great, not bad, but a lager.

Curious to see the long-term play and how it does since it was $2 more per 6-pack than Budweiser at the Rouse's Mid-City NOLA this past weekend.

The Saints won't drop Bud Light. What Tom will probably do is leverage it into a bidding war between Bud Light and Dixie and then go with Bud Light for many millions more.

Next time I get a dozen raw oysters I will order a Dixie for old time's sake. Used to love that combo in the 80s.
