I find places like this sad. It's a constant reminder that we no longer have a culture of our own so we not only have to adopt another country's culture, but we have to have a chain at that. A place about as far removed from English culture as it can get, and one with a very strong French heritage, cannot do better than this? I guess in the end, we really are a place without an identity of our own. I thought we once did, but I guess I was wrong.

Gimmicky, but what else is new? I give it a year at most before people lose interest and move on to the next gimmick.

eta... Bring it on.

i can actually see this place getting cliquish believe it or not ... soccer fans and people that pretend to be british or pretend to adopt anything british tend to be cliquish snobs ... how long before a few of the fat douches decide to emulate hooligans and start fighting ?

mike, i had the opportunity of playing darts in some pubs in england when i was younger. my pop would play darts with the local yocals. i was real young, so i normally just played by myself on the next board and would steal sips of his nasty arse hot beer when he wasn't looking. pops would've won more games had he let me play on his team.

anywho, i remember the locals as being nothing more than smelly toothless lovable drunks. i went to france once too, and i remember those nasty people peeing in the streets. as for identity, i'm ok with the cookie cutter chains, as long as the restrooms are clean.

Rag it isn't England or Scotland.

In NO even Rangers and Celtic fans don't fight watching matches at the same place. There won't be any of that stuff going on.

Vuvuzelas will probably be banned.

What is wrong with that?

If I lived in BR I would be there every Saturday at 9:00am. Just like I am at Finn's.

amongst all the afore mentioned amenities that the londoner pub & grill offers, i'd like to see them have an upstairs brothel where you could purchase disease free hookers, and also have poker in one of the back rooms.

talk about the perfect place.

How much you want to bet Green Day will be featured in that jukebox?

How apropos that would be.

It is very edible. But you must understand that the food is authentic as it is going to be in Louisiana. The breading is different on the fish, it isn't corn meal. The fish is cod not catfish.
Pulled pork, mussels, steak sandwich, fish & chips, curry chicken salad, shepards pie, chorizo & cheddar stuffed jalapenos, everything I tried was good. Some more than others. Plus the beer is cheaper than any other high quality place in town.
