Went tonight, this is the kind of place BR needs. Great food, great beer, great atmosphere, great service, and yes, the music was great tonight too. Everyone should check this place out.

Totally recommend the mussels as an app, the fish and chips, and the Shepherd's Pie, and the Grimberger (sp?) draft is now one of my favorite beers. Definitely going back soon, and can't wait to try some other things on the menu.

Ok since I'm sure you've seen my only negatives about the place, what did they play?

They had me really noticing it when they played "Stop" by the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. It was stuff along those lines, cool punk/alternative stuff.

when i went to lp&g, i kept trying to overhear different conversations by the patrons to see if any of y'all might actually call each other by your screen names.

example:

degas---- hey rag, me and glass are going to play a game of cricket on the dart board, wanna join us?
rag----yeah i'll play, but hang on a minute because shaft said i could use his darts.
glass---so shaft really does work here?
rag---yeah, doc hired him.

I joked earlier that the length of this thread suggests this joint is the greatest restuarant event in B.R. history. Forgive me for not paying close enough attention, does someone around here have ownership interest in the place?

if shaft doesn't have an ownership interest, he is then officially the bigberg2000 of the londoner pub and grill ... with that being said .. it is just that this place is unique and finally something outside of the box in a part of BR that has been begging for something like this ... it is a very good place that deserves the accolades it is getting ..

From the responses here I would say it is the second left after St. Peter and the pearly gates.

Why are people so obsessed with this? I wouldn't mind hearing things from the owner firsthand.
