My wife and I will prolly be there for happy hour.
I hate the part of town that time of day, but I'm looking for something new.

Went recently with the wife.
We started with the chorizo stuffed jalapenos as an appetizer. They are battered/encrusted and fried. You get 3 for $7 and they are pretty decent sized (looking at their Addison location menu, there you get 4 for $7). A lot of great flavor in them and not overly spicey (closer to mild on the heat scale). We both enjoyed them.
Wife had the steak on ciabatta with grilled peppers sandwich and got the side salad with lemon vinaigrette. She said she liked the sandwich but that she didn't taste any lemon in the vinaigrette and that it was pretty much just oily.
I tried a bite of the sandwich and thought the steak tasted good but there wasn't as much meat as I thought there would be. Also, with the bread, I thought it had a slightly "flimsy" feel to it for ciabatta. I'm not a ciabatta expert, but most other times I've had it the bread felt and tasted more substantial. Overall, I didn't think it was bad, but it wouldn't be a favorite of mine and I'd probably order something else.
I ordered the fish and chips. I had never ordered fish and chips before so I don't have anything to compare my order to. I liked the fish and the batter a lot. The outside was very crispy and the fish tasted fresh.
I thought the fries ("chips") tasted great but I would have enjoyed them more if they were crispier...about half of them were soft. If thats the traditional British way then so be it, but I typically like a crispier fry...maybe the name "chip" just had me thinking crispy. Either way, I'd order this again.
The waitress was attentive and friendly.
Also, I guess they were still working out the music kinks bc Eagle 98.1 was on.

Wife and I went Sunday. Got the sliders as an appetizer. Not impressed. Was supposed to have feta cheese. Not really cheesy. Both of us got the fish and chips. Solid. Clean white flaky cod fish. Crispy batter. Drizzled that malted vinegar on the fries and fish. We loved it. We will go again. FWIW, the music was some sort of digital jukebox on the wall. We dined listening to "word-up." Our server was very attentive.

Feta is among the worst cheese to have on a burger. It doesn't melt well IMO. The rest of your review is encouraging for BR people.

Cameo's word up? I'm sorry I missed that. Ifit were up to me I would play funk music all time. I hear the owner was posting here, which one is he?

Only 3 for $10? The taste was pretty good, but they definitely short change you with the portions on that one. The chicken didn't even fill out the buns.

they need to either up the portions or lower the price on about 75 percent of the menu if they wanna to keep selling it ..

I agree especially on the appetizers. Still the food is excellent.

Honestly ya'll hear me out. I think the bad music is by design. (& this is all speculation) but if people get tired of the music enough, they will put lots & lots of money into the jukebox so the default CRAP wont get played. It's an ingenious idea.

You have 25 posts on tigerdroppings.com, all in this thread. Change the damn music, Chad Kroeger. Or get TheDoc to change it next time he works.

Lol....the jukebox eats money.... feed the jukebox or listen to gangsta's paradise, the entire 3 doors down anthology, creed, & that canadian rock band that was so successful years ago & people still think they're cool oh & linkin park or however the cool kids spell it these days
