Virtually impossible to find in stores in S. Louisiana.

If in BR, buy it at Vinh Phat. And grab some Pho at Dang's next door.

Tabasco Sriracha is better than the Huy Fong (Rooster) brand imo.
An unpopular but true statement.
Doubt I’ll go back

There’s an excellent documentary on his story and his company. I watched it on Netflix years ago but I think it’s on YouTube now.

I like to squirt it on my pizza. Had it for the first time at Pho 88 in Austin way back in the day. I remember all the viet places in Austin being Pho+year family arrived. Pho 88 was our favorite.

Not shocking CA story. People built houses all around his factory and now are trying to shut it down. They claim the roasting of peppers creates air pollution that irritates their eyes and sinuses. The legal battle has been going on for a while.

Sounds like an opportunity for a rich Korean to help him move his factory and replace it with a gourmet Kim Chee fermenting facility....all natural, of course.

Just had a couple teaspoons straight as a refresher. It’s just a very full flavor sauce with a heat level that is present enough for pepperheads yet tolerable for the more pepper-nórmals (like my wife, who prefers it above most).
It’s great.
It’s great.

I believe it was trying to move to Denton, Texas. Think it was rejected due to these concerns. Supposedly around July is when it can suck living next to it but not sure how much that is played up.
