You're melting faster than the butter in a Tom Fitzmorris frying pan
ETA: a pan that he didn't get upon his graduation from Jesuit that never happened

Does this mean the 3WL experiment is officially over?

WWL and WWWL have the same management so they are treated like sister stations. Fitzmorris has slid back and forth between the 2.
To me, the only reasonable cause for the change is that management thinks national sports programing will beat Tom's numbers.
Lately, Tom has struggled to get callers and has started encouraging people to email him questions if they're too shy to ask a question on air. He has also started to have memory lapses - he often has trouble recalling a particular word, especially names.
ETA: Well, apparently this thread has been anchored. I don't know why.

Given things as they are, sure. Right now, WWWL is all national sports radio with the exception of his show and Don Dubuc for 2 hours on Saturday mornings.
To the average person, no one would think a local food talk show would be on his station, and that probably hurts his ratings.
Plus, like anything else, things change. Years ago, he show was THE place to discuss local food. Now we have other food critics, blogs, forums, etc.

Seems like the food show has shifted gears and is doing more interviews with guests rather than the caller format. Could this be due to lack of callers and the show being shortened to 2 instead of 3 hours? He has a guest on every single day nowadays.
