On our recent trip to NOLA the resturaunt we were most worried about was Maximos, but they turned out to be my wife's favorite place we ate.

I live in the East so I have been to all of these places. I love the Munch factory, I have never had anything that I didn't want to try again. Castnet is good and so is Dish. Also I see you forgot Deanies on Hayne, man that place is awesome. People don;t really have a reason to go to the east unless they live there, so alot of these places go unnoticed.

I don't like Shogun at all. The sushi is terrible & spending $25 on Hibachi is dumb. Plus the servers try to rush you in and out after 20 minutes if you're sitting in the sushi area.

Good but not even the best Italian you can get on the Northshore. Plus you have to drive to fricking Lacombe. If I'm going to Lacombe, I'm going to La Provence.

Then what is in your opinion? I haven't had anything better.

You should try the Juju Bag Cafe. Really good food and they have a really nice backyard with live jazz on Friday nights.

Mona Lisa on Royal near Esplanade is an awesome Italian place that I never hear anyone talk about. Good prices and quaint atmosphere.

I went there about 12 years ago and remember having a really good seafood pizza there

This spot should belong to Kanno.

It's excellent. Tried to go last night, and so many places were closed...ended up at the Sushi buffet place behind Outback!

I live close to the place. I like it, but its maddeningly inconsistent. One night pizza will be great - next time, tastes like they got it from Dominoes and sent it out.
