Yeah. But I haven't been here long enough to knight for restaurants just because of what zip code they're in. Hopefully I'll get out before I turn into a retards like the rest of the people here.

I've never even heard of Guillory's. Where is it and what do they serve?

ETA: Can we get a ruling on whether this is Old Metairie?

Off Severn on Derbigny.. Think behind the Burger King on Airline close to Causeway.

Awesome hamburger steaks and tamales too. Usually packed for lunch. No dinner I believe.

Meh. Calzones don't appeal to me.

Good, but the superiority over the one in the CBD is in your head.

Maybe less than mediocre unless you go with someone who is tight with Joe. Then it's just decent. So, I say frick 'em.

Acropolis is one of the better Greek restaurants in the city. Cheap and huge servings.

Frequent Casa Garcia about once every other month. They have a fiya tortilla soup.

One of my best dining experiences was at Vega Tapas...it was up there with Bistro Daisy and Mayas as far as dining experiences go.

Have fun. I've lived and spent a lot of time in both L.A. and the Bay Area. L.A. sucks after a year or two. S.F. is great, but I'll only live there if I have lots . . . and I mean lots . . . of money.

ETA: About Drago's. Average place . . . EXCEPT I do think the oysters are absolutely terrific and worth the occasional trip.
