Wanted to give this a shot, has anyone been? Is it legit Chicago style deep dish or is it that Midway "deep dish" crap. Worth the price?

That was the Dolce Vita pizza that a month ago became That's Amore. Not sure about that location, but their other location in Metairie had legit Chicago Style deep dish, or as legit as you'll find outside of Chicago.

website makes it look like that location also has the deep dish LINK

if its the same one as the one in Metairie, do not get the NY style pizza. Legitimately the worst pizza i have ever had, and expensive to boot

It really is. Some kind of frozen crust. Just terrible. Domino's is better.

I haven't been to the one on St. Charles yet, but the Metairie location was great when I went in December. The deep dish slice is enough for one person for dinner. Two if you've had some bourbon,

I've been away from Louisiana for a few years. What ever happened to Bogdan after Dolce Vida?

How did I miss this? It seems just a couple months back I was burning a Groupon at Dolce Vita and they seemed to be doing fine

They were better when off West Esplanade but the owner sold to someone and it went down hill. Deep dish is pretty good but their thin crust is not good.

R.I.P. Dolce Vita
I'll try and remember you they way you once were:An awesome pizza trailer run by my buddy Bogdan, a crazy Romanian chef. Not the shell you became on St Charles with no walking traffic.

APB out for Bogdan. Dude could cook and we were bros.
