..we ate at El Barrio this past weekend. Was very impressive upscale Mexican. Didn’t get any pictures, so I apologize for that.

They do a good job there. I wish it wasn't so hard to get into. Seems there is always a long wait.

Headed to Birmingham in a few weeks. Might have to try it out.

What did you get? It is in my opinion, the best bang for your buck restaurant in birmingham. Quality to price point is about as good as it gets.
The carne asada steak is fantastic if you are in the mood for a steak. I've had it a bunch now and it has been cooked perfectly every time.

My wife got the carne asada. It was awesome. She said the potatoes that came with it were great. I didn’t try them.

Glad y'all enjoyed. I am there often, so if you ever want to get adventurous with the menu, I can give you some things to go with.
