It's my favorite steakhouse. Their NY Strip is as good as you're going to find.

ETA: I'm referring very specifically to Texas Roadhouse, not Longhorn.

Longhorn is decent and the service is good at that location.

The Texas Roadhouse off Siegen is our go to for outings with kids. Its probably my favorite chain town. Best chicken fried steak in BR.

I really like Logans, Longhorn, and especially Texas Roadhouse. I've never had bad service or a bad meal at any of them. Prices are good, beer is cold, side salads and rolls are always legit. They usually have good lunch specials too.

I feel like a lot of snobs talk down about them, but they don't know what they're missing.

Time to raise your standards. But you are on the right path. Next step, Saltgrass.

I had a very similar experience. Except I got a gift card from my assitant to Longhorn. It was her favorite steak. I was very greatful for the thought, but I wasnt sure I would ever use it. I am not a fan of outback and I snobbishly put Longhorn in the same pot.

Boy was I wrong. I ordered (togo) 3 steaks (1 filet, 1 NY, and 1 ribeye). All were cooked and seasoned perfectly. I dont remember the sides, but they were all good. They gave us extra bread and butter which was nice touch. All the food was about 80 dollars with tip and everything was great.

I will never turn my nose up to a longhorn again.
