They care about their employee and not being open for lunch 5 times a week is extremely helpful for employee retention.
You may wish to call them low end but their customer loyalty is way up there and they are profitable.

I get not taking a date there for a special occasion. Point is if the food is good who cares if it is high end cuisine. Some of that stuff is all in your mind anyway.
