Swamp Pop Cafe?

Anyone ever been to the Swamp Pop Cafe in Maurepas? I have family coming in, and was looking for a place with good seafood and live music. (preferably not Boutin's)

I've been, it's pretty decent.
You won't be writing home about it, but it's not bad place to bring the family, for some good food and good times.

Do they play music in the restaurant? Or is it only in the "lounge?" Trying to figure out if the cafe/rest. is separate from the bar.

No music in the restaurant. Music is outside on patio on weekends only.

You could try Prejean's in Lafayette. I have not been personally but every who has gives it a pretty good review.

If they play swamp pop I'm more likely to set the place on fire than eat there. Your preferences may differ.

The bar keeps this place open. If you are making the drive pick either Kevin's, Hilltop or Val's.
