Superior Grill In Baton Rouge

We went there for lunch just before Christmas. I was very disappointed with my food and I have heard this from others as well. This used to be a great Mexican restaurant. What happened?

I’ve lived in the BR area since 1995, been to Superior many times. It’s not a bad place for a group of friends to have drinks, but the food sucks and it always has.

Went a few weeks ago. Shrimp fajitas were awful. The shrimp were still in the shell. Taqueria Sanchez around the corner on Cloud/Florida is much better.

The problem with SG and almost all of the other TexMex in BR, is after you've been places with good stuff, you can't eat that crap.

I lived in BR from 1973 until 1999. I never knew Superior as a great eating destination. It was, however, the place to pick up chicks on taco bar night!

My family enjoys it. Their hamburger steak is my favorite in Baton Rouge.

I have young kids, so Superior is great for us. We can get in and out quick, the kids can make a mess and no one cares and I can take my marg to go of shite hits the fan with the kids.
I eat at superior once a week. The ribs are good, fajitas are too. sometimes their seasonal specials are on point too.
