Summer Sausage

We've never kept much summer sausage around the house for whatever reason. But over the holiday's I had some great venison summer sausage that someone brought out to the deer camp. Anyone have any recommendations for brands or online specialty meat stores that you like for summer sausage?

I had a nice link from city pork. It was delish. What's the shelf life on that stuff? I think there's some left.

Hi Mountain has a good recipe if you want to make your own. I've made it. Buy the casings and different seasonings from Cabelas. They have the big 2.5" synthetic casings which is what you want. Good stuff.
