Beef Bourguignon Poutine with a Gruyere Mornay and Garlic Aioli
I started by making the Beef Bourguignon in the crock pot.
While that was slowly cooking, I whipped up my garlic aioli.
After 6 hrs on low in the crock pot, my beef Bourguignon was ready to thicken the gravy.
I ran out of time for fresh cut fries, but my frozen bag fries did the trick. While they were baking, I grated the gruyere and started the mornay sauce.
Assembled and ready to eat!
Close up shot of the one I had to remake after the dog jumped up and got into one of them.
It was really delicious. The dog even thought so!

We meal prep, made 12 smash burgers for the week. Put the kids to bed, came down to 1 burger and a very full GSP. He ate close to 2lbs of ground meat

Oh my gosh
I took Jones to Little Village.. god, I don’t even know.. 8 years ago(?).. for his birthday because he had never been. And that’s back when they used to tell you the specials but not the price of them so we got duped into a $60 swordfish plate. We brought home the leftovers and when he reheated the fish and put it on the coffee table, he came back to the empty plate.
Dog had a $60 swordfish for lunch.

One time a friend gave me two bushels of bananas, probably 7 or 8 on each, and I left them on the kitchen counter. Came back to zero evidence of any bananas ever existing. Damn dog ate 15-16 bananas peels and all.
ETA: She also took a huge bite out of the cake that HC made for the chocolate challenge a while back. Fortunately it didn't seem to make her sick.

Whole cooked roast left sitting on kitchen counter wrapped in aluminum foil. I asked my husband if he’d put it in the fridge, but no. Impossible that the dog (golden retriever) ate it, foil and all? Oh, the doggy diarrhea the next day!
