I know crawfish season has just begun, but I thought I would make a how to video for those who do not know how to boil crawfish or think it is too hard to try. The video isn't perfect, but I'm still getting used to editing.

I'm sure I will hear some "Where's the Chack Bay Seasoning at Baw", but I like Cajun Land too much to change. Also, no I do not put seasoning on the outside of my crawfish.

Let me know if yall enjoy the video.

Nice and easy technique. I hate when people over think it.

Your name and closing cracked me up. I've never seen frozen water bottles before... I always do a 10lb bag of ice. What made you choose to use the water bottles?

Yeah And I also think people over due their videos by making them too long

You have liverspots and the Mrs. needs a manicure.

I’d eat the crawfish but I also got a headache at the speed of the video.

I liked it because it was short.

We use them when we are boiling more than one batch. Adding the ice causes dilution

It doesn't dilute the seasoning

I’m so clever, I cool with frozen water bottles. Spraying the pot with a hose works just as well but doesn’t look good in a video.

A little extra orange zest goes a long way.

Man, take out those nonsense do nothing extras and it’s a solid video. Why add that crap? That ain’t lagniappe.

Looks great, that's a good go-to process.
People may say that you use too much water. It dilutes the seasoning. A "sack size" seasoning is meant for 10g of water. This is the biggest thing people overlook when boiling.

That being said, if you like the flavor, you do you.

I used to add oranges until the wife pitched a fit one day saying she doesn't like her crawfish tasting like breakfast.
