1. Chimes - Great apps, drinks, brunch, entrees, location, atmosphere
2. K St. - Great food, drinks, bar area, atmosphere
3. Zippys - Maybe best place to wat h a sporting event in BR. Great drinks at good price, awesome atmosphere and patio.
4. Rum House - Nachos, drinks, patio. All you need.
5. Albasha or Zorbas - Love that style of food, and both are great.

Gino's - Best overall
Gino's/Dijuilio's - best date place
Ruth's - best steak
Los Reyes - best Mexican - I know I'll get slammed for this but it is good
Bistro Byronz - best happy hour/casual place

Favorite is easier for me than best. While other places may have better dishes, my 5 favorites in BR, in no particular order, are:

-Chimes
-Elsie's Plate & Pie
-Curbside
-Overpass Merchant
-Southfin

I'm not going to count Roberto's or any of the places in Port Allen. If just going off of restaurants in Baton Rouge and St. George:

Ruffino's
The Chimes
Sushi Masa
Louisiana Lagniappe
Pinetta's
Stockyard Cafe

I can't narrow it down any more than that

Now, top 5 I actually frequent on a regular basis:
Kaminari
Thai Pepper
La Morenita
Serop's Express
Ronnie's Boudin

Honorable mentions:
Bellue's
Lit Pizza
Dang's
City Pork
The Chicken Shack
Triplett's Blue Store
Geauld Tigers
South of Philly
Albasha's

This on gameday at northgate is second to none! They play callin Baton Rouge and Tiger Rag every hour on the dot. The food is amazing too. Their beer selection is crazy! Varsity next door is badass too. The rooftop bar will be epic! Can’t fricking wait

Very much so. The only restaurant that serves seafood which even comes close anywhere near BR is Roberto's. Pro tip: If you're going to the beach, there's a Destin location which may be even better than the one in BR.

Been once and I know that's not an amount of visits to gauge a place but I wasn't very impressed

Also it's been hyped up on here to all hell. Maybe it can't live up to the expectations

No mention of Beausoleil ? I haven't been there in several months but are they slipping ? Was always one of my favorites.
