Special breakfast for kids

I have recently acquired a job where I have weekends off and I want to start a tradition of making a special breakfast for my kids (5&3). I have been doing traditional eggs/bacon with muffins or cinnamon rolls but is there something that you do for your itty bittys that they particularly loved?

My kids love cinnamon toast. Nothing special but they love it and it makes the house smell good

I was thinking about that or French toast with Mickey Mouse shapes.
I want to start doing eggs Benedict here and there but my gut tells me that the kids won't appreciate it lol.

Pancakes. You can dress them up with fruit, whipped cream, or chocolate chips (or add blueberries or chocolate chips to the batter).
My kids still love it when I make special shapes or their initials with the pancake batter. I wish I was more artistic and could actually do better designs.
Mini quiches done in muffin pans, just start with something basic like simply cheese, ham and cheese, or bacon and cheese.
At 5 and 3, yours would probably be thrilled with the presentation--use cut-up fruit to make faces with they eggs and meat; stuff like that.

At that age pancakes would probably go over well. Blueberries and bananas go well as additions.

Make your own waffles. They love using the waffle maker themselves. And of course adding their own syrup.
Pancakes
Grits
Oatmeal
Cinnamon rolls
Egg and cheese sammich
These are all the favorites with my kids. Plus hot chocolate now that it’s cooler.

My kids devoured this stuff when they were that age, but they also like my ugly BBQ shrimp

If you want to get on MawMaw’s level, you gotta make crepes.

Made some chocolate strawberry waffles for my nephews this morning.
Seemed to go over well.

cinamin/french toast
omletes are great choice and spice it up by letting them select the ingredients to create them. this helps teach them how to blend flavors to start thinking and learning "how" to cook
waffles/pancakes, you can even write their names or create pictures in the pancakes by drizzling batter to write it first before you pour in the batter
and to be honest, some of the most fun i ever had was being allowed to cook my own, with assistance and under supervision of course
one of my childhood favs was jam on fresh hot buttered toast
