I could put Hellman’s, Dukes, Kraft, Blue Plate and Hienz on a sandwich and in a blind taste test you would frick it up to ying to pick out Dukes. 100% guaranteed fact.

Meh, I just assumed you were trying to differentiate Duke's/BP from their peers by that soybean oil line so I just clarified they were no different.

homemade mayo is easy to make, and it's fun to flavor different ways.

Pioneer Woman has an easy recipe, but there are lots out there.

Primal Kitchen avocado oil mayo is LEGIT and the fats in it are much healthier for you than typical store-bought mayo. It's basically the only mayo I use, unless I have no choice.

eta

I haven't even tried the flavored variants. The base mayo is great. I have made homemade mayo several times and think the Primal Kitchen stuff is just as good.

I highly recommend using an immersion blender for this task.

I’m genuinely shocked you beat Kosmo to recommending homemade mayo. Mayo threads are his bat signal

Can't get Blue Plate in Los Angeles. We buy Best Foods mayo (Hellman's east of the Mississippi). It's excellent

You can taste the difference between Blue Plate and Hellman's.

no.

There'a a reason why I never used traditional mayo until I had Duke's.

The sugar content is noticeable in all the major brands.

100%

I guarantee I could pick Dukes out of that lineup. The others? no way. But Dukes is completely different
