I'd skip both of these and go on down to Golden Rule on 78. My personal favorite in that area is Wingz are King on Grantsmill Rd. Best fried wings in Bham.

Yep. Used to be an old Wendy's I think. They pressure cook to order so expect a wait. I think their fried, dry wings are the best in town. If you like chicken livers, theirs are great. Locally owned chain (3 stores I think) and this is the least sketchy location out of all of em. We order them a lot when we go to neighborhood functions.

I'll definitely have to check it out then. Been craving a wing place I can hit, and I drive by it most days on the way home from work. Contemplated trying the Green Acres place not far from there, but just can't get the courage. Reviews are great, but damn the place looks sketchy as hell.

You go first and let me know how it is! It reminds me of Bar 31 in Vestavia. It looks like a total dump, but the meat and three is surprisingly good.

I used to get that one a lot when I was younger but I don't see it on the menu anymore (in TX). Do they still make it 'off the menu'? I've also noticed that the Sonic menu in Louisiana has a few things we don't have at our local Sonic in TX.

When I first went to Whataburger, I immediately noticed their similarity to sonic. Knowing that sonic has an absolutely horrible hamburger, that is not a compliment

IMO Sonic is the worst fast food burger out there. I'm a Wendy's fan if we are talking just the big fast food burger chains.
