The No Reggae (Jerk Chicken) is delicious and the pulled pork taco has a good spice to it. It's a good place if you are in a hurry. Prices are a little steep but the flavor is good.

I wasn't impressed. Tacos were bland and soggy (I had the pulled pork).

Went two or three weeks ago. Had a brisket taco and a ground beef taco (can't remember the names on the board). Good flavor on the brisket taco, but the brisket was dry. Ground beef taco was falling apart it was so soggy when I took it out of the bag (about five minutes after I took it home). Decent taste, but a pain to eat.

Probably won't repeat.

Just got back and I somewhat agree. The Reggae was really good and the ingredients are fresh; however, they need to have some fresh sauce or something added to the tacos if desired. Also, the tortillas did not stay together at all and it was very messy.

If they can just fix some small things then I'd go back, but it's not something I'll go out of my way for at this juncture again.

I had it not long after it opened. It filled a void that was missing in the downtown BR lunch scene. I thought it was pretty good, but a little dry. Agreed they need to add some sort of sauce.

Still meaning to try this place. Have they changed anything? All the online reviews are terrible.

So many closures between Baton Rouge and New Orleans restaurants lately.

not surprising. the food was good, but it was way over priced for what it was and the experience. But that space is expensive. And the only time i have ever heard about it was when Jimmy Ott would talk about them.

They're the best available downtown (which isn't saying much), but the jerk chicken ones are actually really really good.

Not surprising. Tacos don't strike me as a high margin food item and rent there was probably outrageous.

Downtown baton rouge bars and restaurants sure do come and go rather quickly...there are some high priced restaurants that stick around but the trendy places sure don't last long..

Remember when IPO was all the rage? You’re right, a lot of places come and go quickly.
