Wouldn’t it make waaaaay more sense to mandate a negative Covid test? Not that I agree with that necessarily either, but I can respect that more.

I wonder what date range is required for the negative test? Can't you have a negative test today and get Covid tomorrow? So if you go out to eat on day 3, the test proof would be worthless.

Next thing you know they'll require rapid testing at the door.

Yeah I mean none of it makes sense. My rapid test was negative and I've been in bed with Covid for 5 days now

If you have made a full recovery, being vaccinated is a moot point

I take vitamins everyday. I have heard and read on multiple occasions that taking B, C, D, Zinc work very well against COVID.

I've been on vitD and zinc for over a month now, and Covid has mostly kicked my arse So who the hell knows.

Supposedly those vitamins aren't so much for how you handle Covid but for keeping it from leaving prolonged post viral issues.

Again, who knows though..

Dude why are you being such a fricking dick about it? I normally like you too.

There's a lot of reasons why someone may not have been vaccinated. Not everyone is some tin foil wearing anti vaxxer.

I just asked you if you are vaccinated or not. I normally like you too. I'm not being a dick about it so don't feel so persecuted.

I mean.. Pre-covid, nobody would have never asked someone else a question like this. Nobody went around asking me if I got the Gardasil when it came out. Nobody went around asking strangers if they're vaccinated for the flu. How has this become something people feel entitled to ask of others?

It was being a dick to say ~well maybe if you were vaccinated~.. lol. It is very "WELL I TOLD YOU SO!!".. when lots of people have had lots of different Covid experiences. I'm barely 100lbs and 30 years old -- I assumed I'd be basically asymptomatic. And still.. I'm fine. I know many of you have memory holed the past year and a half, but the vaccine was specifically intended for elderly and high risk people initially. And only as politics shifted did people totally erase that from their memories and make it a general population thing.

Oh no! I hope you get better soon. That stinks!

If you weren't feeling so badly, you could probably take your rapid test results to a restaurant and get some nice chicken soup. A prime example of why producing test results isn't worth much if anything.

What's funny is now I'll have antibodies and be less likely to spread/carry Covid than those who are vaccinated, but still couldn't get into these vaccine passport restaurants.

Good luck with that.

Although the last time I went to Nola in February I was shocked at all the morons yelling at people about masks, maybe it’s such a cuck city now people will just comply

I tend to agree but this would be incredibly difficult to prove.

Which is a perfectly normal question to ask someone on an anonymous message board, especially during a pandemic.

I definitely think you weren’t. But it’s an anonymous message board and similar to texts and emails, things are simply going to get misconstrued.

Will they accept fake vaccination cards? And how do they know the difference?

This is one of the things they were accepting just a few months ago in regards to international travel. I believe you just presented your positive test from whenever you had it.

Is there anything conclusive on this entire Covid thing at all? I read an article yesterday that said antibodies from recovering from Covid were the best defense against it (moreso than the vaccine) and now you're saying this isn't true?

Can anyone really blame people for having no idea what to believe when every 5 minutes something is said that contradicts something else?

What about all the stuff that came out yesterday? It seems like you can argue either side for hours on end without much resolution

I don't know. The public messaging has been garbage, so you can't really blame people for not knowing what to do.
